Here’s what one of the owners had to say about the Olympus LS-10 Linear PCM Recorder:
The Olympus LS-10 is one beautiful little piece of equipment and is a worthy competitor to the wonderful SONY PCM-D50.
The LS-10 has a heavy duty feel to it, similar to the PCM-D50 but of course much, much smaller.
It has a superb MENU system, with options to adjust REC MODE, REC LEVEL, ZOOM MIC, REC MONITOR, PLUG IN POWER, six adjustment options for PLAY MODE, along with REVERB and something called EUPHONY for atmospherics.
Other options include BACKLIGHT, CONTRAST, and LED ON/OFF.

Here’s what one of the owners had to say about the Zoom H4n Handy Portable Digital Recorder:
Just like the customer above me, I have a fairly early model (serial 2211). I don’t imagine them having any revisions or anything, because this unit is really solid. Let me start by saying that this device should not be considered a Mic in its own right. Sure, it has two condenser microphones stuck on top to record in stereo, but I wouldn’t use these mics in any studio unless I had nothing better. This unit is for those people who want to record in the field, and be able to capture 4 tracks of audio in a handheld device.

I bought this to record all the meetings I am in so I can go back and listen to conversations if needed. The device is very easy to use. I read 3 pages of the manual and had everything I need to use it.
Sound quality is very good, even when I forget to turn it off and I put in my pocket – it STILL picks up all the conversation around me.
I love the small size. I saw one review complaining about the controls… My hands are not tiny and I have no problem controlling the device at all.

Here’s what one of the owners had to say about the Sony ICD-SX750:
I received this little jewel about a month ago. I will admit that when I opened the box it was in and opened the manual, I was a bit intimidated. But, after just a short amount of time using it, I am totally hooked on it’s value. My commute is over an hour each way to and from work so I spend a lot of time behind the wheel with just my thoughts. It is so neat to be able to fire up this gizmo and put them down electronically. And today, I finally integrated it into Dragon NaturallySpeaking and was able to take my voice notes and turn them into Word Docs. Obviously, there was a bit of editing, but it sure was a lot faster than trying to remember what I said and typing it out. I highly recommend the Sony ICD-SX750.

Here’s what an owner had to say about Zoom H1 Digital Recorder
Before the Zoom H2 appeared just several years ago, there seemed to be little to no interest on the part of manufacturers in bringing to market high-quality personal digital audio recorders. There were the popular 8-track units that seemed best-suited for hobbyists willing to commit extended periods of time to the intricacies and hefty instruction manuals of these machines. But with the H2, near-professional audio quality was suddenly a practical reality, easily in reach of the musician or fan looking for a quick, handy, compact, intuitive recording device.
